Description
As the flagship model of the Goalrilla brand, the DC72E1 lives up to the hype, as it embodies all that it means to be a Goalrilla. Effortless combining elite performance, durability, and arena-level aesthetics, the DC72E1 is simply unrivaled when it comes to residential hoops. It features a regulation-size 72” x 42” tempered glass clearview backboard that is ½” thick for incredible durability and consistent rebounding. It also includes a heavy duty breakaway rim.
Goalrilla DC72E1 Features
The DC72E1 is unique among adjustable hoops (which rely on the backboard and frame to absorb vertical forces during play), all vertical forces are transferred via a Direct Connection to a 4” steel beam. This design completely bypasses the backboard and its frame. This patented rim design is directly anchored to the basketball hoop’s steel structure. This allows it to support more than twice as much force as rims that are supported by the glass backboard.
Both the upper and lower board arms of the DC72E1 are supported by two reinforcing blocks of steel. This also significantly reduces the vibration of the goal while increasing structural integrity. The heavy duty one piece 6” x 8”, 7 gauge steel post is also powder coated so you never have to be concerned about rust, corrosion, or UV damage. The DC72E1 also comes complete with super durable, thick pole padding and backboard padding made specifically for the Goalrilla DC72E1.
If you need to lower your hoop for younger players, you can do so quickly and easily by giving the actuator handle a few cranks. The DC72E1’s height is adjustable from 7.5’ to 10’. And it’s easy to lock the height in place by removing the actuator handle, preventing unwanted adjustments .
A Flagship Hoop Made to Last a Lifetime
And since Goalrilla hoops are made to last a lifetime, the design of the anchor system allows you to unbolt the post from the anchor. This means you can move your goal to a new location by installing a new anchor kit and then standing the goal up in its new location.
