Shocks

Hot tub shock is essentially a large dose of oxidizer that is used to “shock” your spa’s water into a clean state after it’s been contaminated (and no, it has nothing to do with electricity!). Spa shocks perform three primary functions: removing organic contaminants, killing bacteria, and removing chloramines and bromamines.
